Who would have ever thought that Gummy Bears would be the inspiration for incredible art?! Gummy art is absolutely hilarious, and definitely worth an an entire post! You might be asking yourself…”Why Gummy Bears”?! Well I originally wondered if there were any Gummy Worm art work out there. It seems as though the possibilities would be endless, but I found evidence to the contrary. There is very little (if any) gummy worm art out there that has more depth than “Gummy Worm Orgy”, which just simply is neither funny or interesting. On the other hand, it’s as though Gummy Bears have created their own gummy civilization and us mere humans are documenting the takeover every step of the way.

YaYa Chou: Gummy Everything!
YaYa Chou is an LA based artist whose explores Gummi Bears as a medium. She states:
The bright colors and soft texture of children’s snacks construct a romantic scenario which draws my attention to the dangerous ingredient behind them. By rearranging the embellished snacks in the forms of luxury commodity, I wish to pose the questions: Who consume these foods? Who has the choice to choose? (CandyAddict)
I kind of think the Gummy Girl and the Gummy Rug are very cool in concept alone, but equally strange. The chandelier is my favorite, and I would love to see it in person!
