Project Row Houses will be having a screening of “The Blues According to Lightnin’ Hopkins” on Friday 2/21 followed by a discussion with noted blues author Roger Wood and blues musician Robert “Skin Man” Murphy.”
This video is very special to my family and I considering Lightnin’ Hopkins and my grandmother are cousins, and they all grew up in Centerville, TX together. This also happens to be the only video of my grandfather that was taken before he passed, and my grandmother makes an appearance as well! My entire family will be attending this event to show our support.
